REALLY well written. Three iterations really paid off. Concise, informative and powerful.

While 90% of the posts are complaining about 'no content' I think that blogs like this are exceptionally important as they reveal to the player base that CCP's decisions aren't something that are completely random and poorly planned. Personally I found the blog really insightful and thought it explained a lot of the planning and thought that is going into the future game design of Eve.

I can't wait to see what the future will bring with respect to the new sov changes. It'll be most interesting to me to see how CCP deals with the issue of botting and so forth as a replacement to moon mining. But again, we're getting ahead of ourselves. Excellent blog. Well worth the effort.

OR you could just nerf empire ISK generation a whole bunch. I like my idea much better.

that works too, and would be less inflationary. but it would cause a lot of people in empire to unsubscribe and I think CCP wouldn't want that

 Very true.

What I'm also really interested/concerned with is how the upcoming sov changes will affect botting etc. *tinfoilhattery* Is this a grand scheme by CCP to up their PCU numbers? LOL?

Imagine if macros/bots didn't exist in Eve. What would the price of stuff be? What about POS fuel? Capship fuel? I think it would be amazing to see what the game would be like when driven 100% by player action instead of supplemented by bots for a lot of the raw material supply.

When will the POD pilots start contributing their fair share to empire tax revenues?

I try to extract said taxes from every pod pilot I come across on a daily basis.

In line with developing nullsec and getting more empire dwellers to nullsec, what about allowing player corporations to bid for NPC corporations to move their missioning agents to their stations.

For example: In Pure Blind, EC-PR8 station can bid many billions to attract a Home Guard agent to move to their station. Mission runners will have to go to this system, if they want to use this agent. Station owners will make money by reasonable docking fees, getting a % of market fees.

The bid contract will only last for 3 to 6 months. And then it's another round of bidding starts. If no bids are for a particular agent, they go back to empire.

LOL. Yeah right. Watch Goonswarm buy out every L4 agent in the Caldari Navy. Still sound like a good idea?
